Description: The Ewing Ditch at Tennessee Pass in Colorado. The ditch, a transbasin diversion, collects water from the Eagle River watershed and conveys it over the Continental Divide to Tennessee Creek, a stream that joins with the East Fork Arkansas River to form the Arkansas River. The Ewing Ditch is also called the Burton Ditch. It is Colorado's oldest transbasin diversion, dating from the 1880s. Here it is shown empty in October.
