Description: Pauma, CA, November 10, 2007 -- La Jolla Indian Reservation, Viola Peck, Tribal Elder, stands in front of what is left of her home after the area was ravaged by the Southern California wildfires. 92% of the La Jolla Indian Reservation was destroyed by the fires. This is the site of a joint FEMA/BAER (Burned Area Emergency Response) press conference on the actions being taken by both groups to mitigate further damage and erosion by the winter rains.
