Beloved janitor at Colby College 1867-1904 (37 yrs.) 1st row: Beatrice, granddaughter, daughter of Flora (Mrs. Emilie N. Strang); Harold (grandson, son of Lulu (Mrs. Edward Connor.) 2nd row: Amelia (daughter) became a nurse; also House mother at D U House (Colby,) Mrs. Osborne (Maria Iverson,) Flora (Mrs. Emilie N. Strang,) Mr. "Sam," Lulu (Mrs. Edward Connor,) baby in arms, Ethel, granddaughter and daughter of Lulu. 3rd row: Anna (daughter) a fine pianist, who died in the South (1902?), Alice E.
