Description: Bagandung boat is a traditional vehicle consisting of two or long canoes that become one, enforced with gulang-gulang (custom stump), coconut leaf feast and traditional symbols. This boat is usually used when the groom goes to the bride's house, in the language called the majampuik limau tradition. This tradition has been carried out by the community for about a century. Currently, the Bagandung Boat tradition is packaged in the form of a festival that is held every year along with the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
