Description: Fisk Chapel The Fisk Chapel, located on Cedar Avenue in Fair Haven, Monmouth County, New Jersey, was originally built in 1882 and dedicated to its benefactor, Civil War General Clinton B. Fisk. The building is significant as being the oldest surviving religious building on Rumson Neck and for its association with the areas first African American community. The building was originally located at 38 Fisk Street in Fair Haven and was moved in 1974 to prevent its demolition.
