Description: An SVG representation of the flag of Prince George's County, Maryland; e.g. the "P.G. County flag". It was adopted in 1963 in its current form, that is, with the seal in the canton. The previous P.G. County flag was nearly the same as the current one, except that it did not feature the P.G. County seal on the flag. The county seal used on the current rendition of the flag was designed in 1971. The flag itself is in the public domain, and the SVG is hereby released into the public domain as well. Though this variant of the flag is technically not official, it is the most widely manufactured and used, even by the county government itself. The flag is defined in the P.G. County Charter as follows: "Sec. 1-106. County flag; contents. The official County flag shall be a three (3) feet by five (5) feet flag of white, divided in equal quadrants by four (4) inch stripes of red and containing in its upper left quadrant the official seal of the County as adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 25, 1958. (Ord. and Res. 1967, Sec. 1-6)"
