Description: Named "the Ohio Union," this building opened in 1910 and was the first student union at a public university. Almost torn down in 1951, it was saved and added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1979. In 2013 the building was renamed to be Hale Hall. https://ohiounion.osu.edu/about_us/history/
