Description: Tahiti Rail Two-Thirds Natural Size—from Forster's drawing in British Museum (Gallirallus pacificus). The legs have been painted too brightly red, when they should instead have been flesh-coloured. From 'Extinct Birds' by Lionel Walter Rothschild from the year 1907.
