Description: The artist Luis Peñaherrera took almost two months to paint the oil portrait on canvas, mounted on a wooden frame, by President Gustavo Noboa. The president, last October, asked the Guayaquil artist to do the work and was ready at the end of 2001. Currently the portrait is in the home of Noboa on the road to Samborondón, and will be placed at the end of the mandate. The cost of the work is $ 20,000. Gustavo Noboa ruled from 2000 to 2003.
