Description: Hotel Hayward — 601 South Spring St., Downtown Los Angeles, California. Built in 1905, the nine-story Hotel Hayward was designed by Charles Whittlesey. The 14-story addition on the right (western side), designed by John and Donald Parkinson, was added in 1925. It is within the Spring Street Financial District historic district.
