Description: Isabella Furnace — at Bollinger Drive just north of Creek Road, near Brandywine Manor, West Nantmeal Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. This furnace, erected in 1835, was the last sizable one to be built in Chester County. It ceased operation in 1894, being the last active iron furnace in the County. On the NRHP since September 6, 1991 A Historic American Buildings Survey—HABS image.
