Description: John J. Glessner House, a national landmark in Chicago (1886). Glessner was a partner in Warder, Bushnell & Glessner, an early harvester company. He oversaw the Chicago branch of the company when it opened in 1870. In 1902, the company was one of the four to merge to form International Harvester. Glessner was appointed Vice President of the company. It was the last commission for Henry Hobson Richardson, who died three weeks after it was completed. This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 70000233.
