Description: WASHINGTON ROAD BRIDGE WAS BUILT TO REPLACE AN OLDER BRIDGE OVER STONY CREEK. IT USED SOME OF THE SAME MATERIALS USED IN THE EARLIER BRIDGE. IT WAS ALTERED IN 1938 TO MAKE IT WIDER.
