Description: Picture of Lemington Elementary School located at 7061 Lemington Avenue in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on December 12, 2009. The school was built in 1937, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Portions of the exterior are ornamented with terracotta, and feature Mayan-inspired motifs such as an amber sunburst frieze and stylized human faces. Architects: Marion M. Steen (1886–1966), Edward J. Weber (1877–1968), Navarro Corp. Architectural style: Art Deco.
