Description: Liroconite Locality: Wheal Gorland, St Day United Mines (Poldice Mines), Gwennap area, Camborne - Redruth - St Day District, Cornwall, England, UK (Locality at mindat.org) A stellar specimen with MESMERIZING color! this has the mos tintense blue I have seen before on a specimen o f liroconite, almost neon and metallic! It was mined in the mid-1800s, and such pieces are very scarce today. This one, although small in crystal size, is rich overall and simply blows you away for sheer beauty. It is an extremely fine miniature, from these long-gone mines. 4.0 x 2.5 x 2.4 cm
