Description: This bullet mold, designed for use with the .44 caliber Colt Army Model 1860 revolver, belonged to First Sergeant Mathew Marvin of Company K, 1st Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment. Marvin, of Winona, Minnesota, served with the 1st Minnesota from 1861 until 1864. He fought, and was wounded, in the Battles of First Bull Run and Gettysburg. The mold includes chambers for casting round balls and conical Minié balls.
