Description: Harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) at Fjord- og Bæltcentret in Kerteminde, Denmark. The harbour porpoises kept at this facility participates in research to find a way to avoid that these small cetaceans are being killed by mistake in fishing nets. At the center are at the moment three harbour porpoises + one baby on its way (probably around august 2007). The jump out of the water as Eigil shows in this photo is not normal behaviour for this species, but is a trick this individual has been taught
