Description: Meridian Mansions (now known as The Envoy, a condominium) located at 2400 16th Street, NW in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by Alex H. Sonneman in 1916, the building was originally used as a hotel (called Hotel 2400) and apartment house. It features a combination of Beaux-Arts and Italianate architecture. On July 28, 1983 Meridian Mansions was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
