Description: The San Rafael Swell, with the San Rafael Reef, drained and bordered by Muddy Creek, on the left. The en:Muddy Creek (Utah) flows approximately south at the southwest of the San Rafael Swell (the Swell trends southwest-by-northeast). The creek exits the Swell southeast, and flows southeast into, and across the San Rafael Desert. The cliffline landform edge of the San Rafael Swell is the San Rafael Reef, at its southeast, and east-southeast. The SR Swell changes name southwest of Muddy Creek, to the name of: North Caineville Reef, and is not as large.
