Description: Oatley NSW - Former oyster farming site at head of Jewfish Bay (April 2019). This site is just outside the eastern boundary of Oatley Park, and was operated by Harold Howes. In the foreground are some oyster racks, consisting of a timber frame and chicken wire, and behind these is a tank used to heat tar, in which some oyster farming materials were coated. In the background is the western side of Jewfish Point.
