Description: Olive Ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys Olivacea) that nest in the Coromandel coast every year for centuries over generations in a mass nesting act called arribada are increasingly threatened by human activities. A group of volunteers (http://sstcn.org/ in this instance) undertake a daunting routine of night walks collecting eggs, hatching them, and releasing them into the sea safely every day of the nesting season for decades now.
