Description: President Sassoli led a minute of silence to remember the victims of the Ukrainian passenger jet crash, at the opening of the session in Strasbourg. On behalf of the European Parliament, President Sassoli expressed his condolences to friends and families of the victims that died in the Ukrainian passenger jet crash in Tehran on Wednesday. He added that he was confident that a transparent inquiry will provide justice for the victims.
