Description: Pakistani troops capture Khem Karan (India) during the 1965 India-Pakistan War. The Pakistan Army captured Khem Karan town and damaged the historic Sikh gurdwara. Much damage was done to it it was when the Indian Army Arrived, pushing the Pakistan Army out of the area. Consequently, the Sikhs repaired the gurdwara and renovated it again.
