Description: Southern facade of the Palace of Justice, Church Square, Pretoria. Its foundation stone was laid by Paul Kruger in 1897. It is currently the headquarters of the Gauteng Division of the High Court of South Africa. The Rivonia trial where Nelson Mandela, amongst others, was sentenced to life imprisonment was heard here in 1963/4.
