Description: Part two of a three part panorama of Dunedin. Shows Caversham looking towards the sea. Most of the buildings are on flat land, rising to a housing area on the hill to the right. There is a park in the centre, and nearer the foreground there is a complex of buildings identified as the Benevolent Institute, including one large building which is two-storeyed in parts, with a three-storeyed section to the right. This building has three deep arches on the left, and has very distinctive quoins (cornerstones). Photographed by Albert Percy Godber in 1925.
