Description: Testament de Philippe Auguste donné à Saint-Germain-en-Laye, septembre 1222. La forme adoptée est celle du testament mystique, clos au moyen d'un système d'entailles ménagées dans le parchemin afin d'y faire passer les bandes repliées du support, sous le sceau (disparu): l'ouverture du document suppose de ce fait la destruction du système de clôture. Ce dispositif est repris pour le testament de Louis VIII (AE II 223).
