Description: original description from Flickr: Mga Bakya Bakya, or wooden clog, is a traditional footwear Filipino women used to wear. I still remember my grandma wearing one of these, her steps making loud noises on concrete floors. I've worn these when I used to perform Philippine Folk Dances in school. It's sad that this little tradition is slowly dying...they'll probably stay as they are now..just on display behind glass cabinets!
