Description: Map showing hydropower project sites and regions of Alaska. Symbols are triangle = in-river, cross = tidal, square = existing conventional, and circle = proposed conventional These are sites that are being followed by NOAA for their potential impact on anadromous fish (those fish that move from salt water to fresh water to breed). The regions are delineated according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Anadromous Waters Catalog except that the Southwest Alaska and Western Alaska regions are here combined. The following lists of projects appear on other pages of the same website. The map may not represent the current list exactly due to updating delays. The original lists include weblinks.
