Description: On May 14, 1981, the space ship 'Soiuz-40' was launched, with a joint Soviet-Romanian crew consisting of the commander of the ship, Leonid Popov (left) and the cosmonaut pilot Dumitru Prunariu (right); the press conference of the two cosmonauts before launching the space shuttle. Launch took place on the Baikonur cosmodrome.
