Description: Quarrying bed HH1a, Bannockburn Formation, for the early Miocene St Bathans Fauna, 2014. The fossil St Bathans Fauna of New Zealand consists of animal remains that accumulated in a subtropical lake 16–19 million years ago, in what is now Central Otago.
