Description: Ruleville Depot — a former Illinois Central Railroad station, located in Ruleville, western Mississippi. Built in 1930 for the Illinois Central Railroad, and closed as railroad depot in 1978. On the National Register of Historic Places in Sunflower County, Mississippi. It had both PASSENGER and FREIGHT SERVICE, and served the growth of Ruleville. Now a RESIDENCE, and the tracks are gone.
