Description: A red necked Grebe ( Podiceps grisegena) has just swallowed a fish. The bulge in the back of the grebe’s neck is the fish going down the throat. The Grebe was observed at Potter’s Marsh, near Anchorage on the Turnagain Arm of Cook Inlet.
