Description: A mosquito magnet in front of the baseball diamond of Rockaway Community Park (formerly Edgemere Park), on Almeda Avenue across from the Edgemere Houses in Edgemere, Queens. These contraptions are meant to mitigate the mosquito problem at the park. It appears that some sorts of special plants are placed inside the box in order to attract mosquitoes.
