Description: The only remaining baseball diamond (there were previously two) of Rockaway Community Park (formerly Edgemere Park), on Almeda Avenue across from the Edgemere Houses in Edgemere, Queens. The park underused due to an abundance of mosquitoes, epitomized by this baseball field, whose diamond is being consumed by grass, and whose dugouts now consist of shoddy benches with no fences. The mosquitoes are biting me, but it is worth it. Looking east down the third base line.
