Description: Last month, on 22 September 2022, French President Emmanuel Macron inaugurated the first offshore wind farm in France, which is located off the port of Saint-Nazaire. With a capacity of 480 megawatts, the farm is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year and serve a population of 700,000 people. The wind turbines are visible in this image, acquired on 8 October 2022 by one of the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellites.
