Description: Solfjäder från den svenska kolonin S:t Barthélemy. På solfjädern av dun (möjligen svan) sitter tre uppstoppade fåglar: en gulsångare och två scharlakanstangara. Handtag av beigefärgad papp(?) med broderier av beige, bruna och gröna fibrer i form av blommor och blad. Solfjädern förvarad i en rektangulär tillsluten pappask med glasad ovansida och in-och utsidor klädda med grönt, klistrat papper. Vid ena kortsidan fästat fyra små snöröglor. På askens undersida skrivet med bläck: "Enl. anteckning (med blyerts) å löst papper "LifRust och Klädkammaren 1869" af H.M. Drottningen den 2 mars 69. 1 st solfjäder af hvit struts med åsatta trenne st. små foglar. Skaftet flätadt broderadt af rötter vexta på ön St Barthelemy samt der förferdigad den ... flyttad från samlingarna å China paviljong vid Drottningholm". (Nationalmusei Konstafdelning)
