Description: Identified as Scranton store. c. 1880-1882. This was the second successful store for the Woolworth Brothers. Charles Sumner "Sum" Woolworth became full owner in 1882 and lived in Scranton, PA, the rest of his life. Sum became Chairman of F. W. Woolworth Company in 1919, after the death of his brother, Frank.
