Description: The Washington Street Boat Landing (originally Harbor Entrance Pergola, also known as Public Boat Landing) on the Elliott Bay waterfront in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The galvanized iron shelter is supported by 16 decorated steel columns. On the National Register of Historic Places, ID #74001961, under the name Washington Street Public Boat Landing Facility. Architect Daniel Riggs Huntington; built 1920, with some restoration work done in the 1970s. This is the district's only important landmark on the western side of Alaskan Way. Shown here just before sunset.
