Description: The entrance to Penn Pier at the southeast corner of the Penn Park section of Shirley Chisholm State Park, above the mouth of Hendrix Creek along Jamaica Bay near Starrett City in Spring Creek, Brooklyn. Originally used as part of the Pennsylvania Avenue Landfill, the pier was modified from its original fingerpier design into the current triangle structure during the 2000s restorations of the landfill site. The path to the right (west) was the original pier.
