Description: Space shuttle Atlantis on Launch Pad 39A (left) is accompanied by space shuttle Endeavour after Endeavour's rollout to Launch Pad 39B. This was the last time two shuttles were on launch pads simultaneously. Atlantis mission STS-125 was the final servicing mission to upgrade NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Endeavour was prepped for contingency support (Launch On Need)standing by at pad 39B in the event Atlantis was damaged during flight and unable to safely return to earth, necessitating an emergency rescue mission (STS-400.)
