Description: This Norman church is close to the Bristol’s recently rebuilt Bus Station. It's the City's earliest surviving building. The priory was founded in 1129 by Robert, Earl of Gloucester. When the priory was dissolved, the nave of its church was spared, as it had become a parish church. It's now a Roman Catholic church, open for silent prayer and run by the Little Brothers of Nazareth together with the St James Priory Project for homeless people with a substance dependency.
