Description: Stained glass window, St Cuthbert's Church. This scene depicts the years between 1845 when the railway came to Kildale and 1868 when the Saxon church was replaced by the present Victorian church. The Saxon church is taken from a small watercolour of it that still survives. The York National Railway Museum guided John Lawson (the designer) on the correct model of engine to have used the line between 1845-68.
