Description: Stannary Hills in North Queensland, ca. 1907. The Stannary Hills and Irvinebank Tramways of Northern Queensland were 2' gauge lines built through spectactular scenery to service tin mines in the area. Notes on the back of the postcard read: 'The value of minerals exported from Queensland during 1906 was £ 3,602,940.' A set of postcards were produced for the Franco-British Exhibition in 1908.
