Description: Rockhampton Post Office, ca. 1895. Rockhampton Post Office was designed by the architect G Connolly and constructed by Collins and McLean in 1895. It was built from Stanwell sandstone. The most striking features of the building are the superb colonnades and the imposing clock tower. The Post Office is situated on the northwest corner of East Street and Denham Street.
