Description: This statue of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent is located in Park Crescent to the south of Regent's Park. Born at Buckingham Palace on 2 November 1767, he was the fourth son of King George III and Queen Charlotte. He was the father of Princess Alexandrina Victoria of Kent, the future Queen Victoria. He died when his daughter was just nine months old on 23 January 1820, at Woodbrook Cottage in Sidmouth, Devon.
