Description: Steve Boone (left) and Jerry Yester of the Lovin' Spoonful in mid-1967. Yester replaced Zal Yanovsky as the band's lead guitarist in June 1967. This image appeared in the September 9, 1967, issue of KRLA Beat, next to a piece introducing Yester to the band's fans. A crop of this image appeared on page 3 of the August 11–17, 1967, issue of the Los Angeles Free Press, indicating that it was taken at the Lovin' Spoonful's show with Simon & Garfunkel at the Hollywood Bowl, July 28, 1967.
