Description: The Sudak Fortress is a unique complex of the monuments of medieval archaeology and architecture of the 6th - 16th centuries. Most of the architectural buildings of the Sudak Fortress, which have survived, towers, walls, city gates, date from the Genoese period (late 13th century, Italian republic of Genoa). Originally it was a fortified Byzantine town (late 7th century). Sudak, Crimea.
