Description: Exterior of the Crypt at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, Liverpool, England. This was the only part of the ambitious Lutyens' Cathedral to be built before spiraling costs lead to the project being abandoned. Had this particular design been built, it would have been the second largest church building on earth as well as costing close to £1 billion as of 2011.
