Description: The Indian Mutiny 1857-1859 Aftermath of the Siege of Cawnpore, showing the remains of the Bibi-Ghar (the House of the Ladies). The massacre of more than 200 British women and children which took place there on 15th July 1857 was one of the worst atrocities of the Mutiny.
