Description: CHICAGO (June 5, 2012) Rear Adm. David F. Steindl, commander of Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), speaks to Ed Farmer, Major League Baseball’s Chicago White Sox radio play-by-play broadcaster during a White Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays at U. S. Cellular Field. Steindl gave the oath of enlistment to 86 young men from the Chicago-area, Indiana, and Wisconsin at the 27th annual Chicago White Sox Navy Night before the game. Steindl was the guest of honor for the event and also threw out the first pitch after enlisting the new recruits during pre-game ceremonies. (U. S. Navy photo by Scott A.
